We've got the perfect role available for someone with passion and skills as a Lecturer - Foundation and Bridging Programmes. This role will involve facilitation and maintenance of positive external relationships with those supporting the student learning journey. If you have the commitment, dedication to make a difference in culture and education, then this could be the exciting step in your career. We are currently looking for 2 part time / fixed term lecturers to cover the delivery of the programmes in Corrections Facilities.

The successful applicant will have:

  • A teaching qualification level 7 or above, a tertiary teaching qualification level 5 or above would also be advantageous.
  • Experience working/teaching with foundation and bridging and/or language development programmes.
  • Must have either the National Certificate in Adult Literacy and Numeracy Education (Level 5) or New Zealand Certificate in Adult Literacy and Numeracy Education (Level 5).
  • A minimum of 3 years teaching experience working with adult learners.
