Due to an overseas move an experienced Commercial Broker support role has become available.

About the role

You will;

be working closely with three experienced commercial brokers  

maintain an existing portfolio of commercial clients on policy renewals, changes endorsements and alterations

build strong relationships with the clients to help retain  business

analyse client requirements and provide the best cover solutions

negotiate rates and terms with underwriters and build relationship to meet client needs

be proactively involved in commercial claims and follow-up.

About you

You should;

have a minimum 3 years broking or underwriting experience, particularly in commercial fire and general or commercial motor

understand the elements of insurance and broking and have the ability to negotiate terms with insurance company underwriters

be able to deal effectively with claims departments and provide clients with quality advice on risk

be a highly commercial and proactive achiever focused on delivering results while meeting client needs and making your contribution to the team

be able to demonstrate organization skills, work on tight deadlines and have a proactive approach.

have a current work visa or New Zealand residency and be fluent in English
