Reporting to the Quality Manager, this role is a great opportunity to further your career with an organisation which takes pride in achieving the high standards demanded by the food industry.

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Quality Manager as required.
  • Develop SOP's and work with department heads to ensure these are consistently followed.
  • Control, review and disseminate SOP documentation.
  • Help developing and maintain systems to identify and monitor improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Arrange, coordinate and participate in internal and external quality audits.
  • Assist with compliance with all HACCP programme and contribute to HACCP and H&S improvement.
  • Assist in performing standard tests and quality checks.

Skills and experience

  • Experience with compliance programmes. 
  • Previous experience with internal and external audit preparation. 
  • Relevant qualification or training.
  • Relevant workplace experience in a quality environment.
  • Manufacturing industry experience, while not essential, would be an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to positively implement change and influence others.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced agile environment.
  • Great organisational skills and structured administrative ability.
  • Well developed aptitude for writing documents.
