Territory Manager - Queenstown and Central Otago

The challenge:

 

Thirsty work happens every day at Frucor Suntory (we are the distributor of some of New Zealand's most popular beverage brands after all) and our Territory Managers are our frontline team who are out on the road helping to make this happen. Roles like this are key to our ongoing success as the Energy Market leader, which is why we are looking for a few sales superstars to join the team.

 

Ever wondered what Territory Managers are responsible for? Here’s a few things that are top of their list;

  • You'll be an ambassador for our brands and ensure that our customers receive service that is second to none!
  • You'll meet & exceed sales targets for your territory - including budget achievement, sales value, and distribution targets
  • Activating our sales strategies - you'll drive sales and grow presence of our new and existing products by optimizing trade investment and executing all promotions, point of sale, and space commitments in store

Our customer’s satisfaction is our top priority so you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment and be a master at juggling multiple priorities. You’ll be the face of our brands to our customers, so it’s critical that you’re passionate about making drinks better and possess exceptional relationship management skills.

Here at Frucor Suntory, we don’t take ourselves too seriously and like to have fun – so while you will find our wish list of skills and background below, a lot of what we look for in a hire is how they fit in, and what they bring that’s different. We aren’t a team that shies away from a challenge, and neither should you.

 

Our wish list of skills would look something like this;

  • Previous experience within a Territory Manager role or a proven track record of achieving sales results
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion and commitment to succeed in a sales based environment
  • Ability to work autonomously and travel within the territory as required
