On Call Support Workers

Havelock North/Hastings/Napier

Community Support Workers required now.

As New Zealand's largest provider of community-based health and disability support, we are committed to providing support, respect and dignity to our clients, enabling them to have greater independence and quality of life in their own homes.

If you have a passion to support people to live independently, are positive, caring and reliable, willing to provide the support, guidance and encouragement that will enable our clients to maximise their independence then we are looking for you.

We offer you the following:

  • 60 guaranteed hours per fortnight
  • Paid mileage and in-between travel time
  • Flexibility, variety, training, NZQA Qualifications, support, rewarding work - a real opportunity to make a difference

You will need the following:

  • Passion for making a difference and improving the lives of others
  • Ability to work alone whilst being part of a large team
  • A current driving license and reliable transport
  • Prior experience would be a benefit
  • Must be flexible with availability as on-call position
  • Able to complete a satisfactory police check and provide references
  • Be a NZ Resident/Citizen or have a valid NZ work permit
