Teacher - Early Learning

We are looking for that special teacher who will fit with our community-focused philosophy and who is able to work 35-40hrs/pw, between 8am and 5:30pm.

Our Centre is well resourced, dynamic and committed to providing high-quality education and care for all tamariki, whānau, and the wider community. 

Key responsibilities

  • deliver a curriculum aligned to Te Whāriki
  • plan, implement and evaluate a learning programme that is responsive to the strengths and interests of children
  • promote learning opportunities which are inclusive, equitable and culturally responsive
  • document children's learning and take responsibility for children's profile books and e-portfolio.

Skills and experience:

This could be the role for you, if you...

  • are an outstanding, experienced teacher who is energised and excited about engaging with children.
  •  have a positive "can do" attitude and the ability to use your initiative
  • are experienced and have a commitment to creating quality early learning experiences for children
  • have excellent communication, planning and organisation skills 
  • have a strong desire to make a difference to children in their early years while building strong links with their whānau and families.
