The Role

  • Responsible for developing compelling frameworks to support a deeper view of our peoples’ talent’s, bringing together currently separate activity into a cohesive leader led dialog.
  • Developing a structure to assist active movement of talent across our business areas ensuring we inspire and retain our people. Creating opportunities for the business to get to know each other’s talents.
  • Implement systems ensuring we are utilising technology and analysis to support our performance approach aligned to the Company’s business goals. Using insights to develop our products, processes and engagement strategies.
  • Manage the ongoing performance and career management process ensuring that all levels are informed, trained and coached on every aspect of the process.
  • Manage the maintenance and execution of the performance management system, including ensuring the quality of standards of performance and performance evaluation instruments.
  • Design and implement targeted high potential and leadership development initiatives.
  • Collaborate and support the development of career pathing framework for key technical and leadership talent career ladders.

The Person

We are looking for a positive, self-starter who is experienced and confident in dealing with a range of processes managed systematically and manual. Constantly driving for consistency, focusing on impact and measurable results

  • Tertiary degree in Human Resources, Law or equivalent
  • 3-5 years' experience working in an Employee Relations or Advisory role
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Employee Relations legislation and experience of managing investigations, disciplinary procedures and mediation
  • Experience developing core competencies and managing a competency-based performance process
  • Experience with developing career paths
  • Critical thinking to identify problems, evaluate alternatives, and recommend effective solutions.
