Territory Manager - Farmer

The opportunity:

We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Territory Manager to join our team based in Mt. Wellington. In this role you will be accountable for providing key single point account management to achieve new business growth from new customers, excluding nominated key and national accounts.

 

What you will achieve:

New business development and maximising take up of Divisional and other Waste Management services.

  • New business targets from new customers as set within the Region / territory
  • Maximising value of services achieved in new customers within the first 12 months of contract
  • Conducting the minimum number of “face to face” sales calls each week as set by the Field Sales Manager

 

In this role you will have a track record of success in competitive environments, with high energy levels and receptive to coaching and training. We are looking for a competitive individual who has proven sales experience in a fast-paced industry and passionate to grow in their sales career. 

 

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Clear interpersonal & communication skills; collaborative team style;
  • Interest in recycling, gardening, soil and composting;
  • Strengths in relationship development and management, customer focused;
  • Strong presentation & negotiation skills;
  • An energetic, “can do” attitude & style;
  • Proven experience: sales, solution selling, business acumen;
  • Having used Sales Force, territory planning, will be an advantage;
  • Current NZ driver’s license and Class 2 driver’s license (desirable)
