Territory Sales Manager

A great opportunity for an energetic and mechanically minded Sales Territory Manager looking for a new opportunity within the agricultural sector.

About the Team

This well-established, family-owned business are specialist importers and manufacturers of innovative agricultural, horticultural and industrial equipment including pumps, sprayers and spreaders.

About the Role

We are seeking an energetic Territory Sales Manager to further develop our dealer network in the Upper North Island. This includes identifying and signing up new dealers, finding replacements for non-performing dealerships and building relationships with key stakeholders across a territory which reaches from Taumaranui, across to Taupo and Whakatane to Kaitaia.

About the Person

With a budget in excess of 1.5 million, it is vital that you are a highly motivated self-starter, experienced in the sales of agricultural, horticultural or industrial equipment to the rural sector. Your extensive B2B sales experience will be invaluable as will your robust people skills, relationship building ability and your sound sense of humour.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building effective relationships with your dealer network.
  • Managing and further developing the sales potential of your dealer territory.
  • The provision of training to dealers on technical products enabling them to sell their products with confidence and provide excellent aftermarket service to their customers.
  • Organising and prioritising your workload in order to meet promotional deadlines.
  • Representing the company at Field-days, Trade events and Conferences both locally and nationally.

Remuneration:

This role offers an attractive remuneration package including competitive salary, bonuses and company vehicle.
