Our client is a leading insurance broker in New Zealand. They provide solutions to your personal and business insurance needs such as; fire and general, life insurance and income protection, business risk management, and premium funding
 
The Role
 
They are currently in need of a broker who has experience within commercial fire and general insurance. This position is critical to delivering all of the company's products and services to existing and new clients
 
Responsibilities
  • Manage all your clients to ensure they are appropriately covered
  • Develop and deliver new business, retention and profitability targets
  • Support the Group Broking Manager to ensure the branch business plan targets are exceeded
  • Coach the Broker support staff to develop their knowledge and capabilities
  • Apply best business practice
 
Skills and Experience required
  • Ideally have between 2-3 years' experience in Commercial Fire & General insurance in New Zealand
  • Previously been a broker, support broker or who has worked with an insurer
  • A proven strong track record of achievement
  • Strong relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills
