The Opportunity

The International Office is responsible for developing and implementing the international strategy to attract students from around the world to study at The University of Auckland

We have an exciting opportunity for an International Student Adviser to join the International Office on a fixed term contract until 31 December, 2019.  

About the Role

The position of International Student Adviser provides a comprehensive range of international student support and referral services, as well as individual and group advice and advocacy, to enhance the educational and social experience of international students, in association with faculties and service divisions.

This position will be reporting to the Associate Director – International Student Services, in the International Office.

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate in an effective and friendly manner with students from a wide range of cultures, have a high level of public/professional presentation, and a well-organised and systematic approach to work. Experience working in a tertiary institution or in a similar role is essential. Conversational fluency in another language would be an advantage but is not required.
