Theatre Assistant, Ascot Hospital

Every day as a Theatre Assistant you will play a key part in supporting our Operating Room teams with providing patient care, by maintaining a safe, pleasant and functional operating room environment. Main duties of the role involve cleaning our Operating Rooms, manual handling of our patients and stock pick-up/delivery within our theatres area between surgical operations. This is a permanent part-time (64 hours per fortnight) position based primarily at Ascot Hospital in Remuera, working rostered 8-hour shifts between the hours of 7am and 8.30pm.

Our preferred candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within a Hospital/Healthcare setting, be a physically fit, motivated, proactive and reliable team player. Your can-do attitude, good communication skills coupled with good physical fitness will put you in good stead for this role.
