Management Accountant

We are seeking to appoint a Management Accountant to join our Finance team based at our head office. This position is an opportunity to develop and grow a career in this challenging and rapidly changing industry. The role will include a broad mix of financial reporting, cost analysis, cost control, including developing and maintaining costing models for pricing and product optimisation. There will be the opportunity to get your hands dirty working with other units across the wider business.

The key responsibilities of this role are:

  • Reviewing of Costs of Production, and liaising with site management to determine root causes of variations and actions to be taken.
  • Ensuring business and site margins are correct.
  • Involvement in budgeting process, taking responsibility for specific sites and departments
  • Leading Finance input in production decisions.

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

  • An accounting degree and CA/CPA or similar qualification is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a similar role in a large organisation, ideally 3+ years, and preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and experience to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.  
  • Demonstrated ability to build sound working relationships across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Operations teams.
  • Self-starter and attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills, and the ability to work under deadline pressure, and highly developed analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Excel and ERP accounting software. Microsoft Dynamics NAV knowledge would be an advantage.
