As New Zealand's go-to company for infrastructure construction and maintenance services, we know our people are what make us great. City Care is going places, and we're looking for talented people to join us on the journey.

We're one of the biggest and most experienced providers of open space services in the country. If you are a handyperson, problem solver, great with your hands or just like being out and about every day, you'll find everything you need in a job with City Care.

What's the job?

We are looking for several Structures Servicepeople to join us. As a Structures Serviceperson, you will be responsible for undertaking the planned and reactive maintenance on all of the fixtures within your open space's community facilities.

This will include undertaking the physical repairs or upgrades, completing inspections, identifying opportunities for improvement, proactively solving issues, assisting the wider Auckland Property Team and creating a safe environment for the Community to use.

All of your community fixtures that you can think of your family enjoying such as playgrounds, beach areas, seats, bollards, carparking, tracks and fencing to name a few, need repairs and maintenance, and we need you to help us do this.

This role will be based from our Auckland Depot - East Tamaki, in our latest Full Facilities contract servicing the communities of South Auckland.

Skills & Experience

Ideally, you will have a maintenance/handyperson background, though if you are great with your hands, are a problem solver, and love working outside, we want to hear from you.

You will hold a Class 1 Drivers License, however, most importantly, you'll have a great attitude and want to make a difference in the community spaces we live and work in.

Benefits & Culture

People enjoy working in this team because we know that people are our greatest resource.

Now's your chance to be a part of keeping New Zealand green and beautiful.
