What?

We are seeking an experienced, passionate Medical Receptionist to join a busy private medical clinic in Remuera. Working as part of a tight knit Administration team of 5 you will be the 'face' of the practice to patients, and will take the lead in providing the exceptional patient experience that this practice is so well known for. Some of your key areas of responsibility will include: 

  • Providing a warm and professional welcome to all patients attending the practice
  • Managing phone queries - lots of them!
  • Dealing with patient queries, and owning them
  • Managing complex booking system
  • Support and mentoring of other receptionists
  • Invoicing, processing Southern Cross payments, and other ad hoc admin tasks
  • Providing clerical support to Clinical team as required

Who? 

This role acts in a 2ic capacity to the Practice Manager, so we are looking for someone who is keen to take that next step up in their career, and is eager to take on more learning and responsibility. The role is based at front desk with a heavy focus on patient contact so we are looking for a people person who loves to ensure the highest levels of one-on-one patient care. You will be mature and level headed in your approach - nothing phases you! You are system savvy and well versed in Microsoft Office Suite. You enjoy working as part of a friendly team and you have confident communication skills. Previous experience in Medical Administration will be very highly regarded, as would a nursing or pharmaceutical background. Previous experience in a very busy reception role is essential.
