Assistant Accountant

The Opportunity

Utilise all of your accounting skills as you will be involved in everything, from the more transactional duties such as Accounts Payable/Receivable and Payroll through to preparing Monthly Financial Statements and assist with the Balance Sheet Reconciliation work, offering you daily variety.

This role will see you working closely with a small but established team of Accounting staff and offer’s great opportunity for long term career development.

The Role

In this role you will work with the wider accounting team and your duties will include;

  • Preparing monthly financial statements
  • Prepare and pay assigned payrolls
  • Manage accounts payable/receivables and bank statement reconciliations
  • Responsible for the maintenance of the fixed asset ledger and management reporting
  • Assist the accounts team with any other duties as required



Your Profile

  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and relationship building experience
  • Work well as part of a team and be able to work individually as required
  • Have a great attention to detail and a good knowledge of systems & MS Office
