CCIC New Zealand Testing Laboratory is a new independent testing laboratory at Auckland Airprot Oaks. The laboratory is focus on Food Testing and operated by China Certificate Inspection (Group) Co. Our customers are mainly importers and exporters and manufacturers engaged in trade with China. We independently evaluate product quality and company qualifications and help our customers pre-determine product compliance based on target market regulations. We also help our customers improve product quality and brand protection.

 

Quality Assurance Officer(s) (#JOB-QA1901)

The role, you will be handing daily clerical and administrative activities of the laboratory, and to maintain appropriate records for the efficient operation of the laboratory assurance management.

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Promote quality
  • Conduct quality training
  • Health, safety & environment (HS&E) lead
  • Facilitate HS&E training
  • Raise Non-conformances and follow up with the appropriate department for timely investigations and closures
  • Chair the quality meeting and the HS&E committee meeting
  • Document control & reviews
  • Participate in internal and external audits
  • Coordinate internal audits
  • Compile and distribute quality KPI's to lab management team

You will need to have the ability to work across multiple tasks while maintaining a very high level of detail. On top that, you will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in chemistry, microbiology, food technology, food science, nutrition or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years contract lab experience, more is desirable – either as technician/analyst or in a quality role.
  • Working knowledge of IOS 17025. If familiar IANZ, RLP, CNAS and CMA systems, you will be preferred.
  • Advanced user of MS Office suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Can speak fluent mandarin and prepare mandarin document will be preferred.

  • Highly motivated with a "can do attitude".

Micro Laboratory Analyst(s)/Technician(s) (#JOB-ML1901)

As a member of micro laboratory team, you will be involved in sampling, preparing media, equipment calibration and testing. You will support Team Leader to set up the new laboratory at a high level and ensure smooth operation of the micro laboratory.

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Collect and process laboratory samples and consumables
  • Prepare, validate and dispose laboratory reagents and media
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment
  • Environmental testing
  • Assist in method validations and SOPs preparations
  • Ensure adherence to method and procedures as ISO/IEC 17025
  • Prepare and maintain quality document to meet IANZ and RLP accreditation requirement

To be considered for the roles you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in microbiology or similar
  • Self-starter with a passion, persistence and sense of urgency
  • Team orientation
  • Proven experience in microbiological testing laboratory in including method validation
  • High level of accuracy and urgency sense
  • Understanding of ISO/IEC 17025
  • Senior position will need 2 – 5 years laboratory experiences

Chemistry Laboratory Technician(s)/Analyst(s)/ Senior Analyst(s) (#JOB-CL1901)

As a member of chemistry laboratory team, you will be involved in physical tests, wet chemistry tests and instrumental analyses. Also laboratory equipment maintenance and calibration. You will be asked to support Team Leader to set up the new laboratory at a high level and ensure smooth operation of the laboratory.

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare testing samples
  • Prepare, standardise and dispose laboratory standard solutions and reagents
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment
  • Perform training and maintain training records
  • Assist in method validations and SOPs preparations
  • Ensure adherence to method and procedures as ISO/IEC 17025
  • Prepare and maintain quality document to meet IANZ and RLP accreditation requirement

To be considered for the roles you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in chemistry, food technology, food science, nutrition or equivalent.
  • Self-starter with a passion, persistence and sense of urgency
  • Experience in instrumentation. Such as GC, IC, HPLC or ICP-MS
  • Good working knowledge on chemical analysis
  • Method validation and instrument validation
  • High level of accuracy and urgency sense
  • Understanding of ISO/IEC 17025
  • Have good computer literacy
  • Senior position will need 2 – 5 years laboratory experiences

This role is to promote the company's brand and services, promote the development of

bilateral trade between New Zealand and China, and reduce the quality risks of New

Zealand's export products. Products sold include testing, inspection, certification and

consulting services etc.

Your core responsibilities will include:

Develop marketing and sales plans based on the company's strategy

Market analysis based on product quality requirements for New Zealand and China trade to identify target industries and target customers

Establish mutual trust customer relationships to achieve sales performance

Develop sales teams in a timely manner to create better performance

To be successful for this role you will have the following:

More than 5 years of sales or marketing experience

Have the ability to grasp and understand business issues and the underlying needs 

Proven sales team development and leadership skills

Familiar with New Zealand's export industries and with the connections of relevant corporate executives

Effective communication skills to build a sincere and friendly relationship with a variety of clients

Positive work attitude and ability to challenge performance

Ability to empathize and focus on customer experience

Reliable, trustworthy, honest, proactive and meticulous
