Laboratory Technician HPLC

Our Nelson based client is a leading independent science organisation with a large group of expert scientists they provide support to an extensive range of industries including food and environmental. Currently they are seeking a Laboratory Technician (HPLC) to join their Analytical Science Group to support testing and research work – with a focus on HPLC.

In this role you will:

  • Perform and carry out analytical and routine testing
  • Analysis of results including entry into computer systems
  • Recording and data entry of records and results.
  • Training of staff
  • Maintenance of lab equipment and instruments

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • A BSc in chemistry or similar
  • Minimum 3 years in a similar laboratory role (ideally including experience in an HPLC / GC testing role)
  • Good experience using lab equipment and instrumentation
  • Strong work ethic and integrity
  • Good record keeping and written work
