Trainer Assessor - Central Otago

  • Are you a registered electrical trades person ready for a change
  • A focus on safety, innovation, and taking you and your ideas seriously
  • Provide training, coaching and assessing in the field

As an approved contractor for Aurora we are now looking to recruit a Trainer/Assessor in Central Otago.

At Connetics, you'll get more of what matters. More satisfaction, a more active role in problem-solving and decision making, and more life in a day.

Picture a life where you're All Ways Connected to development opportunities, a commitment to your safety, and an approach towards innovation where your input is respected and valued.

This isn't just any Training/Assessor role. Oh yes, you'll be doing everything you'd expect, and using your technical expertise to the full, but what sets this role apart is Connetics itself.

Based in Christchurch and with depots in Wellington and Central Otago, we're responsible for constructing and maintaining overhead and underground lines and equipment across these locations. Providing such a critical service is no easy task, and we know that to be the best, our people need to be connected, safe, and involved. That makes your satisfaction our top priority.

And there's a lot to be said for the lifestyle opportunities in Central Otago. How about a shorter commute and cheaper housing? Lots of possibilities for outdoorsy weekend adventures? More time for your family? That;s right - we know you have a life outside work, and we expect you to live it every day.

If you have a current practice licence and network certificate and have significant experience in line mechanic and cable jointing, this could be an exciting change for you, with amazing professional opportunities.

You'll bring strong written and oral English skills, an open mind, and confidence to bring new ideas to the table. You'll also be happy for some work-related travel - sometimes you'll have to go where you're needed to maintain and restore networks. We need to be to be able to bring your industry and related regulations knowledge and experience to this role.

This isn't just about growing your career and living your best life. It's also about having more. More satisfaction, more opportunity, more innovation, more experiences - and more life in a day for the things and people that matter to you.

What will you do with it?
