Wellbeing & Resilience Programme Manager
(30 hours per week)

Hearts & Minds is a community organisation with an integrated focus on wellbeing.

We are seeking a Wellbeing & Resilience Programme Manager, with excellent people and organisational skills, to oversee the effective delivery of our group programme.

Our Wellbeing & Resilience Programme provides therapeutic groups across the North Shore, Waitakere and Rodney to clients experiencing mild-to-moderate mental health concerns.

This role is suited to someone who is passionate about improving wellbeing at a community level. The position involves directly interfacing with clients who are experiencing mental health challenges so requires a compassionate person who is driven by strong professional practices and holds relevant qualifications in counselling, psychotherapy, or psychology.

This interesting and varied role also involves marketing, promotion and networking – we are seeking someone who is skilled at building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including staff, facilitators, volunteers and other agencies and organisations.

Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent people skills: warm and professional
  • Strong communication skills: written and verbal
  • Exceptional administrative and organisational skills, with an eye for detail
  • Confidence in marketing and promotion
  • Flexible multi-tasker, with good stress management skills
  • Ability to work inclusively with diverse populations
  • Strong computer skills
  • Qualification and experience in counselling/psychotherapy/psychology
  • A ‘can-do’ solution focussed attitude to life and work
  • Facilitation skills will be advantageous

This position is for 30 hours per week: 9:00am – 3:30pm, Monday – Friday
