We're seeking a Field Assessor to join Counties Power, it’s an exciting time of growth both for the company and the region.  You’ll ensure compliance and continuous improvement to quality standards and performance along with health, safety and environmental, by providing a monitoring and support service through coaching and mentoring to the Field and Network teams.

In this position you’ll; undertake site safety observations and audits; promote a culture of quality outcomes; ensure understanding and compliance of new standards, design specification, procedures, quality protocols, company standards, regulatory requirements, materials and equipment across the company; identify and propose corrective actions to address quality non-conformances by collaborating with other teams to develop new procedures, engineering specifications and construction methods.  Key to this position is the nature in which you integrate and collaborate with different departments and all levels of the business to achieve positive outcomes.

Knowledge and skills required:

  • Five years relevant experience in field assessments within the electricity distribution, infrastructure or construction sector
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands and handle complex tasks simultaneously
  • Calm, professional temperament with ability to coach and uplift performance
  • Computer literate and competent in Microsoft systems (word, excel, PowerPoint)
  • Have an uncompromising attitude towards safety
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
