Commercial Insurance Consultant

We’re looking for a passionate commercial insurance consultant to join our commercial insurance phone based broking team located in Central Auckland.

The role would suit someone who already has some insurance experience and wants to expand their knowledge and career in the realm of commercial insurance.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Open and maintaining good working files
  • Prepare policy and miscellaneous documentation in line with brokers instructions and company guidelines
  • Ensure data is correctly entered in the eGlobal operating system and processed in a timely, accurate manner
  • Prepare premium funding documentation
  • Follow office and company procedures to ensure a high standard of work is maintained
  • Keep up to date with internal and industry changes
  • Assist with marketing initiatives and client claims where necessary
  • Manage the activities of a small team of commercial insurance brokers

The successful applicant will:

  • Have at least 1 year previous experience in commercial insurance essential
  • A successful track record of achievement
  • Ability to be self-supporting and work autonomously
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills
  • Proficient in producing high quality client facing documentation including quotations, renewals, reports and new business submissions
  • Be focused on delivering results and making a strong contribution to the team
  • Be a natural at engaging people and can demonstrate excellent organisational and administrative skills
