Forest Herbs Research Ltd is a fast-growing Nelson company with aspirations to greatness. With an innovative culture and dogged determination this award-winning company is taking a little known and very unique native herb to the world.  Kolorex from Horopito is a niche global brand looking for a dynamic Office Administrator to join the team.  If you have a strong bent towards problem solving and attention to detail, this may be the role for you!

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be primarily responsible for the efficient running of our accounting and office systems which include: all accounting functions, credit control and debtor’s management, creditors, wages, inventory and completing GST and payroll.  You’ll need to be experienced at providing high quality management accounts to support the management team’s monthly meetings.  Strong accounting experience is essential.

You’ll need to coordinate the dispatch function of the business also.  This means communicating dispatch instructions to the 3PL provider and following up if necessary to ensure smooth delivery to domestic and export markets.

This position requires excellent organization, planning and communication skills to ensure it goes like clockwork.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is a team player and prepared to pitch in as required. We are a small team so sometimes you may have to lend a hand in all areas. Furthermore you will have exceptional interpersonal skills, a can-do attitude and a proactive willingness to support the team.
