This is an entry level broking role, where you will work within an experienced group of insurance industry individuals.  Ideally you will have some insurance, insurance broking or sales expertise as you will be an instrumental part of the team working to develop Crombie Lockwood's continued growth aspirations, reputation and status in the industry and market place.    As an SME Broker, you will manage a book of our existing clients and will be able to further test your skills by identifying new opportunities for both existing and new clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to develop your insurance knowledge and launch your career by being an important part of a dynamic and supportive local, regional and national team.

Are you our next success story?

  • You will have the ability to manage an existing book of clients and identify and drive new and exciting business opportunities
  • 2-3 years insurance or related industry experience preferred
  • Great customer relationship building and communication skills
  • Committed work ethic
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to perform under pressure
  • Strong administration skills, with high attention to detail
  • The ability to produce high quality client facing documentation (quotes, renewal reports, underwriter submissions)
  • Pro-active and not afraid to take the initiative
  • You will need to be a great team player in your interactions with the wider office
  • Ready to take your career to the next level with a challenging role
  • Innovative in your thought processes
  • Passionate about making an impact in your field of expertise
