Here at Marcel’s we are a small and nimble team with BIG goals!!

We are looking for an energetic and well presented person to join our sales team in the Christchurch area.

Our field sales team are a passionate group of pancake-lovers who are committed to building partnerships with our customers and finding new ways of doing things better.

The current vacancy is for a part-time sales rep in the Christchurch area to service a mixture of Foodservice and Retail accounts.

You will have the flexibility to choose your days/hours up to 20 hours per week, within regular business hours but this could grow with your input.

You will be visiting our customers on a regular basis and driving growth within our core clientele, as well as identifying new business opportunities. 

You’ll be responsible for increasing sales volume and ranging within your territory, working in partnership with your customers to grow their businesses and ours.

To be successful in this role you will need to be an organised, pro-active individual demonstrating:

FMCG Sales or Foodservice sales experience

Strong Customer Focus

Proven ability in building productive relationships

Effective management of a call cycle,

The ability to report on weekly activities

A strong desire to exceed set KPIs. 

Ability to work independently as well as part of a larger team.

The successful applicant will hold a Safe In-store Food Handling Pass or willing to get one, and have a clean NZ driver’s licence. Use of your own personal vehicle is a pre-requisite of this job.
