Insurance Broker

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an Insurance Broker to take ownership of a domestic client base as well as drive new business acquisition and growth in our Whitianga Branch.

This role is fast paced, with lots of variety and no two days the same. Although you will have end to end responsibility for your portfolio and autonomy in your role, the team also supports each other to ensure the overall success of the branch and positive outcomes for our clients.   

Day to day you will work on:

  • Client renewals
  • Negotiating policy terms
  • Preparing premium calculations and allocations
  • Document management and processing
  • Claims management
  • Debtor management

About You:

Ideally you will come from an Insurance Broking background, be local to the Whitianga area and be looking for that next step in your career. To be successful you will need to be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

  • The ability to deliver high standards of quality client service
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities
  • Competency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Positive attitude and drive to succeed
