Group Operations Manager

Accessman is an industry leader in Elevated Working Platform (EWP), and experts in the field. Established in the mid-1990s in Christchurch, the business in now the largest specialist equipment hire company in the South Island. We are on the hunt for a Group Operations Manager to maintain the profile of the highly reputable Accessman Brand nationwide. 

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Raising of purchase orders
  • Management of staff within various business units
  •  Ensuring a high standard for staffing and operational requirements, and that all compliance requirements are met
  • Monitoring of month end processes
  • Relationship management for clients, suppliers and service agents
  • Monitoring of Sales Representatives, in conjunction with the National Business Development Manager
  • Management of the fleet, ensure optimum utilisation and local availability of machines nationwide

 

To be our successful candidate, you will have:

  • Technical knowledge of the specialised hire industry
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Staff motivation and engagement skills of the highest standard
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Enthusiasm and excellent people skills

 

As Accessman operates across the country, this role will encompass out of town travel on occasions. Flexibility to work outside of normal hours and attendance of any training/development courses is required.
