CoLab Wine Merchants is a dynamic, fast growing national wine distribution business representing a balanced portfolio of well known, highly respected,  domestic and international brands.

The Role:

Based in Wellington the role covers the greater Wellington region, and also includes part of the lower North Island.    

The sales responsibilities include all parts of the wine trade - restaurants, independent retail and grocery.  As well as the core wine part of the portfolio, CoLab Wine Merchants also represents a leading Olive Oil brand.

Founded by leading New Zealand brands Alpha Domus (Hawke’s Bay) and Terra Sancta (Central Otago); this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, results focused, sales person to join a young, energetic business where you can make your mark and help shape the business.  We place a strong emphasis on the value of our team and you will be highly supported in the role.

The Territory Manager role will see you:

  • Actively promote and develop the CoLab Wine Merchants portfolio in line with our well articulated company goals and objectives

  • Maintain and grow our existing customer base and actively develop new business

Build strong customer relationships to ensure that CoLab Wine Merchants is viewed as a valued, trustworthy, capable, key business partner

  • Prepare effective territory plans in line with the broader company priorities

  • Manage territory budgets (sales and expenditure)

About You:

To achieve in this role you will have:

  • Excellent communication skills  with a commitment to enhancing customer engagement;

  • Strong negotiation and sound decision making skills that deliver solution based customer outcomes;

  • A proven ability to operate independently as part of  a wider - but tight - team

  • A commitment to deliver profitable sales growth; and

  • Energy, with a strong desire to succeed and make a difference
