Sales & Marketing Coordinator

Weta Workshop is on the hunt for Marketing's rising star!

Our Tourism department is the front-facing team that greets 140,000-odd film fans, international travellers, curious Kiwis - and everyone in between - each year. And we're only getting bigger.

That's where you come in. As Sales and Marketing Coordinator, you will assist a busy team with the day to day enablement of key sales tactics and development of marketing campaigns. A bright-eyed, bushy-tailed self-starter, you will co-ordinate the roll out of new services, showcase our brand at various events, manage our digital presence, liaise with our operations team, work with internal and external agencies and support our trade partners in ensuring they have access to all relevant collateral, content and pricing to help promote our offerings.

And if you can do all that while knowing your Wizards from your Wargs - well, that's just a bonus.

Tertiary qualification in marketing? Experience in the Tourism industry? Customer focused and computer literate? You might be the person we're looking for.

We'd also like you to have:

  • Strong administration skills
  • Computer literacy in all MS Office suites
  • An interest and understanding of online marketing practices

As well as:

  • Be an expert at ‘getting stuff done'
  • Being able to manage your time wisely
  • Understand the digital marketing environment and be technically intuitive
  • Have a creative mind, contributing to new ideas and adding a creative spark
  • Be proactive and use initiative to problem solve
  • Have exceptional communication
  • Have great attention to detail
  • Be able to travel on occasion
