Commercial Underwriter - Customer Hub

At Crombie Lockwood success doesn’t just happen, we make it happen – for us, our customers and for the great people who work here.  We’re always looking for new ways to do more and to be better, and that means hiring the best people.  We are looking for an exceptional Commercial Underwriter to join our new underwriting Facility in our Customer Hub.  We are open to explore part-time opportunities and are happy to discuss flexible working arrangements whether that be a 20 hour working week, a four day week with agreed hours or working from one of our 4 Auckland offices that’s close to where you live.    

Our business is going through a period of change and we require an experienced person who has a solid knowledge of commercial underwriting.  Reporting to the Commercial Underwriting Manager you will be responsible for negotiating with Brokers on a daily basis.

Are you our next success story?

  • You will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Commercial Underwriter
  • Be a natural at engaging people with exceptional communication and negotiation skills
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent organisational, administrative and timekeeping skills
  • Strong problem solving ability
  • Highly self-motivated with a mature attitude and strong work ethic
  • Very high levels of resiliency
