About the business

At Eventfinda Stadium we are here for our community. We work hard to provide experiences to our community that make our Stadium a preferential campus for both Community and Commercial Sport and Recreation across the Auckland Region and NZ wide.

Whether its a SuperCity Basketball Tournament, Rock concert, International Netball Test, or motorsport show each year we bring some of the most diverse content to our community in NZ and we love doing it. 

About the role

After nearly ten years in the team, our Operations Manager is heading overseas so we're looking for New Zealand's next top Operations Manager. 

Annually we expect to host around 400,000 visitors to over 40 commercial events alongside thousands of hours of Basketball, Volleyball, Futsal and you name it. If our community desires it, we will deliver it. 

This role is one that moves between overseeing contractors and maintenance through to the planning and execution of Events and Community bookings at Eventfinda Stadium. 

Leading a small but tight-knit team of around 6-8 you will be someone who naturally "gathers others around" to help achieve joint outcomes in the things we do. We don't work for pay cheques we work for our community.

Skills and experience

Ideally, you will have some previous exposure to the Event Management & or Facility industry, perhaps you're a recent graduate with a good dose of common sense and respect for hard work.

More than anything we are looking for the right attitude. You will be a person that exudes trust and confidence while being open to others ideas and helping others to achieve their outcomes. 

For the right person, we are prepared to offer training. we expect a minimum 3-5 year commitment and in turn, will help the successful candidate develop their skills.
