About the role

With a small and dedicated team operating from their Christchurch production facility, they wish to appoint an Operations Manager who can lead their production facility as they enter a period of significant growth. Reporting to the CEO, this is an exceptional opportunity for an individual with Production / Manufacturing experience looking to join a business committed to providing exceptional products to consumers.

Your key responsibilities

  • Oversee the production, quality and distribution of Linden Leaves products.
  • Provide effective leadership and management to a team of production and logistics people.
  • Work closely with the Production Manager to ensure the planning, forecasting and purchasing activities meet company and customer KPI’s.
  • Meet, maintain and enhance product and process quality standards.
  • Manage stock effectively and identify process, system and procedure improvements.
  • Manage the plant facility, assets and equipment to enhance production flow and reduce costs.
  • Use data to help drive efficiency and improvement in the production and distribution of products therefore improving yield.
  • Develop and maintain effective supplier relationships.

Your skills & experience

  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • A background in Operations / Production Management within a manufacturing business.
  • Outstanding leadership with the ability to build a high performance work environment and culture. 
  • Excellent quality management and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication abilities.
