Your next career move

You’ll be joining a dynamic and successful business team responsible for shaping and managing the most important intermediated relationships that Suncorp has in New Zealand.  As part of our Business Leadership team, you’ll be working with a dedicated team of Account Relationship Managers (ARM) who’ll be responsible for delivering against a pre-agreed balanced scorecard as we look to increase profitability, growth and customer advocacy. You’ll be managing, working with, developing and supporting your ARM team.

Your role will be to lead our International Broker Distribution channel. This will include Schemes, Facilities, Corporate Speciality, SME, Personal Lines, Marine and Rural business developed by our largest international insurance broker customers.

What you'll need to succeed 

The successful candidate will have a track record of success as a seasoned senior business professional and talented relationship manager. You’ll be working with a team of insurance professionals from all disciplines and seniorities.  

Key to success is the ability to demonstrate strong collaborative and negotiation skills that can influence and manage stakeholder’s interests. The successful candidate will be required to cultivate growth, deliver high retention rates and produce excellent NPS for the business.

Preferably, you will have prior experience within a major insurance company, financial services group or a large insurance broker. You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record as a senior client executive who has managed both a broad array of customer groups and stakeholder outcomes.  A sound knowledge of risks and exposures is essential as is experience in managing a team of direct reports.

We are looking for a high standard of commercial acumen including the ability to present to large audiences both internally and to external business associations and industry bodies.
