The Methanex Operations Department is building its capabilities and our team for a strong future. That's why we're offering great jobs and career development opportunities, with a number of positions in both Panel and Field Operations available.

We're looking for highly motivated team players who are reliable, dedicated to the job and have a thirst to learn. You'll ideally have Enchem qualifications (or equivalent) and detailed knowledge of work permitting systems. Along with being inquisitive, having great communications skills and a high attention to detail, it is a requirement that you'll have the ability to work a four on four off shift roster (including nightshift).

Panel Operators

The Operations control room is the hub of Methanex and we need you to put your experience and knowledge into practice. You'll monitor and control processes using modern DCS equipment, to ensure we are operating within expected control parameters. You will work closely with the Field Operators and the Maintenance team to maintain a continuous overview of plant operations/performance and authorise work permits and isolation certificates. It's an ideal step up from a Field Operator role or - thanks to the extensive training on offer - a great way to change industries. If you're a safety-oriented team player who is confident to make quick decisions, we're keen to hear from you.

Field Operators

Get set to work hands-on at the heart of our methanol-making facility - monitoring, making field adjustments and preparing equipment for maintenance. It's your chance to develop a range of transferable skills as you work with high pressure steam and complex process gas systems - everything from boilers, vessels and pumps to turbines and compressors. We're looking for safety conscious team players who can use their initiative.
