Project Engineer

Brian Perry Civil is a leading and award-winning New Zealand contractor. As part of the overall Fletcher Building Group, we undertake a wide range of civil construction projects throughout New Zealand and the South Pacific with specialities including foundation and piling works.

Due to a growing forward workload, we are seeking a Project Engineer to join our Auckland-based team. This is a great opportunity for a Project Engineer with 2-3 years + experience of site or project-based exposure to continue to develop with an organisation committed to the on-going development of their staff, combined with a sustainable forward workbook.

You will ideally have an appropriate engineering qualification and proven associated experience. You will be involved in a range of projects across the General Civil / Structures sector. As such this role will provide you with strong exposure to this engineering sector which is multi-disciplinary in structures, bridges, pump stations etc. If you had any drainage exposure that will be a bonus.

We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal and communication skills which will allow you to proactively supervise and monitor direct staff and subcontractors. You will have good planning skills and the ability to effectively deal with a range of site based issues as a result of your ability to come up with innovative and cost-effective solutions. Your commitment to ensuring the highest standards of Health & Safety, environmental and quality management will be a strength.

Make a difference to our business and advance your career.  At Brian Perry Civil you will enjoy the benefits and recognition of working for a well-respected business unit within the Fletcher Building Group. Along with a competitive remuneration package, this opportunity will be an ideal platform for high performers to be ‘seen’ within the group. If this sounds like the next step for your career, please click ‘Apply Now’.
