Customer Experience Team Leader

Our sales support and customer services teams (8 direct reports) need a team leader to help them deliver the best customer experience to our clients and support our growth strategy. You’ll be their key go to person, responsible for their day to day leadership/management. The team support our New Zealand based key account and business development team, who are busy growing our sales pipeline.

This role is 20% team leadership/management and 80% hands on sales support to our NZ clients. You may be an experienced team leader or someone who has strong sales support experience ready to take on team leadership responsibilities.

The role involves:

  • leading the daily activities of our customer services and sales support team ensuring the timely, accurate and professional servicing of existing and potential clients
  • managing leave, rosters, timesheets and team meetings
  • undertaking customer services and sales support duties to ensure the maintenance of optimum customer service
  • supporting the key account and business development team maintain and grow our sales
  • setting up and maintaining client requirements to enable efficient seamless ordering
  • ensuring the team follow our systems and processes, and were necessary developing new processes
  • learning and championing our internal IT systems
  • preparing monthly and adhoc reporting

You’ll be:

  • outgoing and enjoy motivating and getting the best out of people
  • very experienced in the sales support/customer services area
  • ideally an experienced team leader, however not a must have for the right person
  • an excellent communicator, verbally and in writing
  • methodical and organised
  • someone who loves problem solving and is a flexible thinker
  • a self-starter who can work under pressure when needed
  • comfortable using Microsoft Excel and Word to an advanced level
