The Role 
Reporting to the  Procurement Manager, you will take responsibility for the purchasing function, whilst also providing support to procurement: 
  • Raise and approve Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders
  • Check and file delivery notes
  • Access various Supplier/Vendor Portals to place orders
  • Produce weekly and monthly statements and reports
  • Process monthly recharges, both inter-department and cross-company
  • Supplier relationship management
  • Drive a culture of Continuous Improvement 
  • Ad hoc support to procurement with a view to taking on more responsibility as the purchasing and procurement function grows
The Person 
You will be a confident 'hands-on' operator with some practical experience in purchasing. Happy to assume responsibility for transactional and operational aspects of work, you will also be looking to take on further responsibility and progress your career in a multi-national group.
