We are currently looking for an experienced ICT Support Technician to join our established IT company in Wellington.

As an ICT Support Technician, you will be responsible for assembly, troubleshooting and carrying out repairs to machines, peripherals and a variety of IT devices including computer desktops, laptops, ipads, mobile phones, and other ICT devices.

Key attributes:

*At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
*Maintain, support and repair technical equipment, including desktops, laptops, printers, mobile phones, A/V equipment, peripherals.

*Strong technical ability
*An interest in computers, mobiles, Ipad, server machines and peripherals.
*Experience in troubleshooting and data migration.
*Troubleshooting and carrying out repairs of all audio/visual equipment and mobile phones, tablets (iOS and Android).
*A relevant qualification in IT.

*Proven experience and knowledge repairing and maintaining of all ICT equipment.
*Create computer networks and security programmes and install software
*Design websites for organizations, maintaining and updating technical applications
*Identify causes of software and hardware malfunctions and organize repairs or replacements needed
*Monitor performance of equipment and computer systems or software to ensure optimal performance
*Provide maintenance and repairs for computer hardware and additional equipment such as Laptops, PC Tablets, Mobile Phones, Printers, Modems, etc.

*Excellent customer service skills

• Installing and downloading the appropriate software 
• Ensuring efficient use of applications and equipment 
• Implementing computer networks 

Other skills
*To be considered suitable for this opportunity you will be self-managing and have a positive attitude. With outstanding communication skills and a proactive approach, you will be organized and able to work to deadlines. 
*You must have an awareness of technology and ICT. This is an urgent role, so if you’re interested.
*Strong knowledge of the ICT industry, including the latest software and hardware developments
*Proven ability to work well in a team and to train junior team members
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*Ability to perform work with a high degree of accuracy within set deadlines
