Tekla Technician - Christchurch

Kirk Roberts Consulting Engineers provide structural, civil, fire, geotechnical engineering, project management, design and fabrication services covering an extensive range of industrial, commercial and residential projects. We have a proven reputation for delivering progressive, innovative design from a team of international diverse enthusiastic & energetic professionals. Kirk Roberts Consulting Engineers are a nationally recognised company with offices in Auckland, Christchurch and Tauranga.

At Kirk Roberts we are leading the Industry in the level of shop drawings that we provide and all our shop drawings are prepared in 3D. We require a capable and driven Tekla technician to join our Christchurch based team for assisting with the preparation of precast concrete and steelwork shop drawings.  You will work on an extensive range of exciting residential and commercial projects while looking for ways to innovate in design, delivery and approach.  Strong communication skills (RFIs etc) will be essential.

The ideal Candidate Requires

  • Prior Tekla shop drawing experience (desired but not essential)
  • Strong communication and paperwork skills
  • The desire to learn, adapt and innovate
  • Good cultural fit with the KR team
