The role:

We are seeking a high energy, detail focused Customer Project Engineer to join our team.  You will have proven experience in delivering customer projects, providing exceptional customer service and development of technically and commercially viable solutions for the supply of electricity to subdivisions, industrial developments, area wide development projects and the relocation of assets.

Key to this role is providing safe, cost effective, consistent and compliant designs in line with company and industry standards and the preparation of work for handover to our field operations teams for delivery.  You will be a self-starter and have strong ability to deliver multiple projects on time and to standards required.

You'll:

  • Have a technical or tertiary qualification in electricity supply or electrical engineering.
  • A minimum of 3+ years demonstrable experience in electricity design or project management roles within New Zealand or Australia.
  • Formal project management qualification (e.g. PMP, Prince 2) is preferred, but not essential.
  • Understanding of best practice and industry standards for network design and asset management.
  • Clear, consistent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
