PROJECT MANAGER

For a successful, New Zealand owned design,  manufacturing and installation business operating in the process and utilities engineering sectors.

The business designs, manufactures and installs multi-million dollar fabricated engineering systems across New Zealand and Australia. The company has significant expertise in its area, and needs to add experienced  engineering project leadership expertise to cope with growth.

Managing a number of projects simultaneously, and the associated multi disciplined teams including site teams, the role will set engineering standards, mentor graduate staff, and manage projects to ensure they are delivered to programme cost and timelines, and that they meet or exceed customer expectations.

A mechanical, process or chemical engineering degree is essential, together with some years of work experience as a project manager in the utilities, process engineering or construction sectors. Proven capability in managing multiple projects is important. Initiative, relationships and communications skills are core to this multi-functional role.
