Events Coordinator

Palmerston North City Council has an exciting new Events team to help deliver our vision of ‘Small City Benefits, Big City Ambition’ - and we are on the search for an Event Coordinator to support them.

If you are organised, and want an exciting and varied role with heaps of fun in a new and energetic team – then this is it!

Located within the Marketing and Communications Unit you will be responsible for:

Supporting Event Managers – helping the team deliver everything from large major events to community events through administration, coordination and monitoring against the activities delivered by event and supplier contracts.

Events administration support – managing event assets ensuring council event assets and property is administered and maintained.

Stakeholder and event partnerships support - managing stakeholder group meetings as required to ensure special interest groups are being engaged with.
