Export Officer - Parental Leave Cover

Export Officer – Maternity Cover (9 months)

 

Tatua is seeking a highly motivated, detail focussed person to join our export team within Sales and Marketing. 

This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely fulfilment of customer orders, including completion of regulatory documentation and the highest level of customer service.

It includes coordination of international freight, application of international trade and payment terms, and compliance with New Zealand and international regulatory requirements. 

This role works closely with regulatory authorities, customers, freight providers and staff across the organisation. 

We are seeking applicants with the following key attributes:

  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Ability to prioritise and organise workload according to strict deadlines
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an exporting environment, including completion of export documentation and knowledge of the MPI AP E-cert system.

A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable.

Note: This role is a temporary role to cover a staff member on maternity leave with provision under the Parental Leave and Employment Protection Act 1987 for these dates to be altered by the maternity leave employee upon certain circumstances.
