Digital Marketing Assistant

Support Office- Christchurch

Scenic Hotel Group has recently completed a large shift in our marketing platforms and we need help with maintaining the great work that we've done and then taking it to the next level. A fixed contract of twelve months, you will gain some valuable experience in digital marketing and be part of our wider marketing and distribution teams.

 

What will I be doing?

Our Digital Marketing Assistant helps us with content audits and updates all our online channels including our website and booking engine, partner websites and distribution channels. Our Assistant also supports the rest of the team with general website maintenance, helping to load promotions and campaigns online and collating reporting on the success of our online activities.

 

What are the key responsibilities?

  • Ensuring our hotel descriptions, hotel information, room and product information including photos are up-to-date.
  • Completing regular checks and conducting audits to ensure all online platforms are displaying the correct information.
  • Conduct regular checks on partner extranets to ensure all our hotels have the highest possible content score.
  • Participate in training to be up-to-date with the functionalities and features of TravelClick’s i-hotelier system and partner extranets.

This is an entry-level position so would suit a recent graduate or junior team member looking to gain some experience and develop their skills.

 

Where will I work?

This role is based in the Corporate Support Office located in Burnside, Christchurch. Our Support Office hosts our IT team, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Central Reservations and more so you will be working with a real mix of people from different backgrounds. This is a relaxed, informal environment that prides itself in delivering the best possible results for our clients.
