The ability to effectively showcase a wide range of skills and experiences is becoming more important to all graduates.  Extra-curricular activities and achievements help graduates to show they are well rounded individuals and improve their employability.


  • Liaise with, and have a good working knowledge of the systems and requirements of:
    • University EPP Coordinator
    • Student Job Search (SJS)
    • Faculty staff including Work-Integrated-Learning (WIL) and Industry Engagement Managers
    • Student Services and Student Ambassadors
  • Promote and support the Employability Plus Programme (EPP), facilitating credits for volunteering through the programme
  • Support volunteering projects within WSU and ensure volunteers are credited as appropriate
  • Promote and support the concepts of short-term and longer volunteering over the course of a student’s university studies
  • Ensure timely and effective communication with students
    • Organise regular promotional activities
    • Accurate and up to date information distributed
  • Liaise with Class and Faculty Reps, club leaders and other student groups to promote EPP, volunteering and other opportunities
  • Obtain feed-back and points of view for continuous improvement
