The Field Officer will be expected to have a broad knowledge of all of the core functions and services of the WSU. The role is a mix of hands-on activities and administrative duties. It covers:
Advocacy - Support students in need, refer them to other agencies as appropriate, manage financial hardship applications.
Clubs - manage affiliations and grant applications, support club activities and events.
Activities - organise regular sporting, cultural and recreational activities and events on campus.
Communications - keep in contact with the student body and disseminate regular information
Representation - support class, faculty and other student reps
