Advisory Officer I

Our talented team of Advisory Officers is looking for a new member to join them. If you’re looking to work with a really good bunch of people, value excellence in customer service and are quick on the uptake then this role may interest you!

You must have a commitment to teamwork, customer service excellence and the ability to juggle priorities and multitask in a busy environment.  Your customer contact will be predominantly telephone based and will include face-to-face and email. 

Every day you will be facing new questions across the whole spectrum of activities impacting on the environment.  Your knowledge of resource management will be constantly extended and challenged and you will need to be able to confidently interpret technical information. Good computer skills are essential as you will be using databases and other electronic tools to retrieve information.

If you have a tertiary degree or experience in a science or resource management field this is an opportunity to use that knowledge in a front office environment to support our customers.  Equally if you are tertiary qualified in another field and looking for a challenge you just might be the person we’re seeking.

This position is based in Christchurch and is a fixed term contract.
