About the role

The primary focus of this role is cost optimization and quality improvement of our Refrigeration components, assemblies and subsystems for domestic refrigeration appliances in global markets.

You'll collaborate with Team Leaders, Chief Engineers, and other subject-matter experts to define key requirements. You'll be supported by Chief Engineers, Technical Leaders, Functional Team Leaders and Subject-Matter Experts.

You'll utilise cutting-edge CAD, Analysis, Prototyping and Testing tools, facilities and methodologies that ensure your design solutions are fit-for-purpose, robust and proven.

You'll interact with our world class manufacturing facilities in Thailand and China and work with local Design and Manufacturing teams at various stages of the project* *

Skills and Experience

Your previous experience has honed your skill in problem solving, and/or the development of parts for domestic Refrigeration products. You possess rock-solid engineering fundamentals, and developed skills proving your designs with prototyping and testing.

You'll need a degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Engineering Science with 2+ years' experience in a Product Development or Product Design environment. A background in complex appliance, automotive or aeronautical industries is desired but not essential.
