Hardware Reliability Engineer

Our Christchurch based client aim to become the world's leading clean energy solution provider. Established more than 10 years ago, they have been successful in securing a large market share and in the clean energy and solar space.

Rapid growth within the NZ team is allowing for extensive new investment and expansion of the Christchurch team.

 

The Role:

As a Hardware Reliability Engineer you get to provide support for test automation/hardware reliability verification efforts. You will contribute to the business goal of ensuring the most efficient, and reliable microinverter systems, by establishing the most effective test practices.

 

What you will need:

Focus of this role is on hardware testing within a software and hardware environment so you will ideally have experience in all or some of the following:

  • 5+ years recent experience in a senior role in design, product verification and manufacturing test development
  • Test automation experience is a plus (+) as is reliability testing and analysis
  • Some experience with power supplies, inverters or solar power is strongly desired
  • Background in Automated Testing, Black Box Testing, White Box Testing, Hardware Debugging, Hardware Testing, Hardware Quality Assurance Process
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Basic working knowledge of process improvement

You will also have sound written and verbal communication skills, and have the ability to listen and understand requirements and context in order to facilitate discussions and the delivery of appropriate applications and functions.
