Our Insights Analysts are responsible for understanding the drivers of business performance.  You will be responsible for reporting these to the business and developing insights to shape decision making for future strategic initiatives.  In essence, you'll provision insights that deliver the “so what”, engaging with business owners and key stakeholders from scope to delivery effectively and meaningfully.   You will be required to generate fit for purpose reporting or presentations that are intuitive and easy to consume.  Other responsibilities can range from supporting the review of our store network to understanding customer dynamics and product drivers of market share within a specific product category.  Utimately you will work across a wide variety of internal and external data sources that connect commercial, logistics, customer behaviour, inventory and operational behaviour data and help the business to make end to end business decisions."

To be Considered for this role you should come armed with the following

  • Minimum 2 years experience in Insights Analysis within large-scale retail settings
  • Analytical skills with the ability to understand cause and effect
  • Questioning and curious mind to be able to understand what a stakeholder's requirements / needs are rather than wants
  • Countdown business knowledge would be ideal otherwise retail business knowledge
  • Strong influencing and relationship building skills
  • An understanding of data and data management
  • The ability to transform data into reports / dashboards (Excel and Tableau) - this is about using the tools to create workable output not necessarily publishable quality dashboards
